Gateway Industrial Products Salt Dome Door is recognized as a highly effective solution for your dome. The Dome Door is designed to eliminate those intrusive birds from coming into your dome facility causing undue damage.
Gateway's Salt Dome Door will also help end the problem of wet, caked and/or lumpy salt due to the salt being continuously exposed to the rain and snow. This will make the salt easier to handle, load and spread. You will also be preventing the loss of salt dissolved by precipitation by maintaining a closed inside storage with the Salt Dome Door.
 Standard Features ~
Vinyl ~
22 ounce Hunter Green vinyl with yellow safety stripes.
Mounting Options ~
Header mount. Face of Wall Mount.
Single Slide Door Operation ~
Manually operated. Single slide door is fixed to one jamb and locks to the other. Fixed side is determined from the inside looking out. Optional either side.
Track ~
Heavy gauge galvanized steel mounting hardware. Heavy duty ball bearing trolleys provide easy glide opening.
Head Room ~
Three inches required for head room.
Side Room ~
When bunched, the door material will take up to 1” per foot wide. Nylon cord tieback straps on the fixed side keep the screen secure in the open position.
Wind Stabilization ~
- Full height, heavy galvanized pipe staffs are placed evenly throughout the door for superior wind stabilization.
- Galvanized steel sliding track
- Ball-bearing style, steel wheel trolleys
- 1” diameter galvanized steel pipe staffs with integral 5/8” cane bolt floor locking pins
- Pipe staffs are enclosed in hi-visibility, safety yellow vinyl pockets (on inside face or curtain only)
- 2” x 4” treated lumber for doorjamb(s) and header mounting frame
